Mile Zero is an informational website published by Mario L. This policy explains what information may be handled when you visit milezeroguides.com, which third parties are involved, and how to manage your choices. Questions can be sent tohello@milezeroguides.com.
Information you provide
You do not need an account to use Mile Zero, and the site has no sign-up or contact form. If you email us, the message, email address, and any information you include are used to answer you and handle any requested correction. Do not send policy numbers, driver's-license details, or other sensitive data.
Information stored on your device
The first-policy checklist on the Glossary & Checklist page uses your browser's local storage to remember checked items. The checklist data stays in that browser and is not sent to Mile Zero. You can remove it by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.
Hosting and basic request data
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. Like other hosting and security providers, it may process technical request data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, approximate location, timestamps, and security signals to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Advertising and cookies
Some article and tool pages may use Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and activity on this and other sites to deliver, measure, limit, and personalize advertising, depending on your location and choices. Mile Zero does not receive your name, email address, or insurance information from AdSense.
Read how Google uses information from partner sites, Google's Privacy Policy, and the Google Business Data Responsibility site.
Your privacy choices
Where privacy law requires it, a Google-certified consent message asks for your advertising choices. You can change a previous choice with the button below when the consent service is available. You can also manage personalized ads in Google My Ad Centerand control or delete cookies in your browser.
The advertising consent service is not active on this page. Open a Mile Zero article and use the “Privacy choices” link in its footer, or use your browser and Google settings above.
Mile Zero does not sell personal information for money. Interest-based advertising can involve sharing identifiers or activity with advertising partners. Where an applicable US state law provides an opt-out, use the privacy message presented on the site or contact us for help locating it.
Fonts and external links
Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives standard request data including your IP address and browser information. Links to government, regulator, and other external sites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.
Retention and security
Mile Zero keeps correction or contact emails only as long as reasonably needed to answer the message, maintain an editorial record, or meet a legal obligation. Google, Cloudflare, and other third parties set their own retention and security practices in their policies. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Mile Zero is written for people researching car insurance and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
